Blog Star...Meet Southern Belle Mama

Here is a link to my first Blog Star post, and so as not to completely repeat myself from last month, I'll share 5 things I like to blog about or describe my blog style.

#1. I love to blog about my babes...Colson, Lilly-Belle, and ButterBean on the way.

#2. I have a certain affinity for ellipsis (...) and exclamation points (!). Sideways smileys are often found in my posts and in the comments I leave. :)

#3. I am proud to be a southern girl! One thing I'm most proud of is our food and although I do eat real meals, there is a special place in my heart for sweets!

I'm a Carolina Girl...North Carolina.

I married my high school sweetheart, The Redhead. We've been married 8 years, together almost 15 years, and come August that will be 1/2 of my life. (You do the math.)

I went to Appalachian State University so I'm a Boone Goon/Happy Appy. :)

We have two gorgeous children:

I have been a teacher for 7 years. I've taught 3rd, 1st, and now I teach Title I Reading to 4th graders.

There are many things I love and these are just a few:

pound cake (my Mamaw's recipe)

babies (I'd hope since I'm on No.3)
