Today I'm linking up with The Nail Files to share this week's mani.
On Wednesday I got both Lilly-Belle and Sam to nap at the same time...but only for long enough for me to paint my nails (which was the most productive thing I did that day).
I used China Glaze's Ahoy which I would describe as a bright wine color with sparkle. Very pretty!
*And guess who forgot to schedule her post and actually link it up...this girl. Mommy brain!

With An Accent
Last week Tara at Fabulous But Evil did a pretty polish with an accent glitter nail. I was inspired to try it (even if my Mama gave me a strange look). Here's my version:
Neutral: Essie Glamour Purse Accent Color: Essie Peach Daiquiri

Top Five Friday...Smiles
I haven't done one in a while, so I thought I'd do an edition of Top Five Friday.
Five things that have put a smile on my face this week...
1. New Essie polish, Bachelorette Bash
2. Lots of yellow and gray goodies for ButterBean, with a sweet little elephant in the mix.
3. Eating a cone of this delicious icecream, Front Porch Sublime Key Lime Icecream (made right here in NC!)
4. Arm Candy
5. Watching my babes learn to swim like fish
What has made you smile this week?

Today I'm linking up with The Nail Files, hosted by Fabulous But Evil! This is my first time, so excuse me if they look amatuer (no cool ombre nails here yet!)
Without further adieu...
Base coat: Sinful Colors Rise and Shine, Glitter topper: Sinful Colors Frenzy, and Topcoat: Gelous Advanced Nail Gel Coat
I love that they look bright and beachy...mermaid nails if you will!

Pretty as Punch
Lately I've been really into bright nails for the summer. During the school year I rarely have time to give myself a manicure, so summertime is pretty much the only time I have polished nails.
I found some awesome bright polish colors -Sinful Colors- at Rite Aid for only $1.99 so I bought a few to experiment with. This one is a pretty purple called "Dream On".
*Sinful colors dry matte so you really have to use a top coat to give it gloss.

I decided to dazzle it up a little on the toes so I added a glitter topcoat.
Here are the polishes I used, and the best topcoat ever! Your manicure will last all week!
Sinful Colors-"Dream On" $1.99 @ Rite Aid (Looks more pink in the photo, but it's really purple)
Wet n Wild- "Kaleidoscope" $.99 @ Rite Aid
Gelous-"Advanced Gel Nail Coat" $4.99 @ Sally Beauty Supply*Sinful colors dry matte so you really have to use a top coat to give it gloss.
