Another year begins...

This guy started Second Grade yesterday.

He wants to work at Subway or be a soccer player when he grows up!

 I feel so thankful that I can send him to school without worry in my heart. I know he is loved, protected, and nourished by the education he receives. We have been blessed with some of the most wonderful teachers, and I can tell how much he loves them and school by the excitement on his face when he gets into the car in the afternoon.

Yesterday was about
-meeting new friends and seeing old ones too
-doing place value in math
-reading
-having a cupcake for a classmate's birthday

This morning he was excited because today is...Enrichment Day! It's going to be a great year!
