So This Is What They Were Talking About

Before we started building people would frequently tell us that it's a one shot deal...you have to make so many decisions that once it's over you never want to do it again. Well, not that it's necessarily been bad, but we are definitely in the thick of the decision making.

The RedHead and I spent Saturday making LOTS of decisions about the house.

We chose these hardwoods:

And these kitchen cabinets:

And bought 2 of these in silver (one for the breakfast nook and the other for the master bath):

We ordered our tub, surround sound system, and this chandelier for the dining room.

Yesterday I spent an hour at Lowes getting tile samples for the shower and paint colors.

Tomorrow we go to finalize the cabinet layout and look at granite. It's a good thing I'm not working right now; this takes a lot of time!

I'll leave you with a picture of our inspiration for our master bath. We've taken care of the hardwoods, tub, and cabinets, and wall color (seaglass green). We are going a different direction with the shower tile, a bit more neutral, but I think it will be beautiful.
